Brief Introduction


Established in 2008, the college has 4 departments: the Department of Transportation, the Department of Traffic Engineering, the Department of Vehicle Engineering and the Department of Traffic Electronics and Information. It has an Experimental Center of Automotive Engineering and a Laboratory of Traffic Engineering. The school has also been home to several research institutions: the Institute of Trafficand Transportation, the Vehicle Engineering Research Institute and the Research Center for Public-Bicycle Service Technology. It offers 3 undergraduate programs in the fields of Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering and Vehicle Engineering. It also offers MS degrees in Traffic Information and Control Engineering, Transportation Planning and Management and Vehicle Operation Engineering, ME degrees in Transportation Engineering and Logistics Engineering. As for doctoral studies, the school has 2 specialized groups, one is Transportation Engineering in Forest Engineering and the other is Measurement and Control Technology and Intelligent Systems in Mechanical Engineering. The school has 41 staff members, including 3 professors, 14 associate professors, 2 supervisors for doctoral students, 15 supervisors for master students. In addition, it has 12 adjunct professors. There are 853 graduate and undergraduate students at present.
