Expert on Climate Change Gave Lectures in NFU

 

From Nov. 4-9, Prof. Stephen R.J. Sheppard of the Faculty of Forestry, UBC gave lectures on visualizing climate change to NFU students. A renowned scholar on global climate change, Prof. Sheppard showed the climate change regulation in the past five decades by applying data model to analyze climate change and he also predicted how climate would change in certain districts in the next 50 years.

Prof. Sheppard’s lectures are part of the joint undergraduate program between NFU and UBC. According to the bilateral agreement, UBC will send professors to NFU teach a three-credit lesson each year.
