Research Results of NJFU Published in ‘New Phytologist’
Recently, our team from the Bamboo Research Institute at our university published a viewpoint paper titled "Testable four-pillar hypotheses and research priorities for decoding Moso bamboo's extreme growth" in the journal New Phytologist. This paper systematically constructs a theoretical framework for studying the rapid growth mechanism of moso bamboo shoots, laying an important foundation for comprehensively revealing the mechanism of rapid bamboo shoot growth. Our university is the sole completing institution of this research. Professor Wei Qiang serves as the corresponding author and co-first author of the paper, Professor Muthusamy Ramakrishnan is the co-first author, and Dr. Chen Ming and Professor Ding Yulong are co-authors.
