The Vice-Chancellor of MSU -IIT Iligan Visited NJFU

On December 14, Prof. Joey Genevieve Martinez, Vice-Chancellor of Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU -IIT Iligan), the Philippines, visited NJFU. Vice President Yin Tongming attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Also presented were heads of the Office of International Cooperation, the College of International Education, the College of Chemical Engineering, and the College of Ecology and Environment.

In his speech, Prof. Yin welcomed the guest and introduced NJFU. He said that NJFU had attaches great importance to internationalization and had established relations with more than 100 universities and institutions around the world; NJFU would always adhere to the combination of "introduction" and "going out", and continue to promote the construction of a distinctive world-class university. He hoped to further enhance the understanding between the two sides and promote the cooperation in the education of overseas students, faculty and students exchange, and joint scientific research.  

Prof. Martinez gave an overview of MSU -IIT Iligan and hoped to expand the partners in China. The possibility of a future MOU was mentioned in the meeting.

The dean of the College of International Education introduced in detail the recruitment and education training of international students, as well as the application and funding of scholarships. The deans of other colleges had fully communicated with Prof. Martinez and had achieved the intention of cooperation.
