A Delegation from the University of Cumbria Visited NJFU
On the afternoon of March 27, Prof. Hellen Mans, Dean of the College of Forestry, University of Cumbria, UK, and her delegation visited NJFU. Vice President Yin Tongming attended the meeting. In his speech, Prof. Yin warmly welcomed the delegation, recalled his own visit to the University of Cumbria in the last year, and highly appreciated the achievements made by the University of Cumbria in scientific research, talent training and cultural cultivation. He said that this visit provided a valuable opportunity for the two sides to further strengthen cooperation and he was looking forward to broader and deeper cooperation with the University of Cumbria in the future.
Prof. Mans introduced the University of Cumbria. She said that NJFU had an excellent reputation in the field of ecological environment and forestry, and hoped to further improve the quality and level of education and teaching between the two sides through in-depth communication, and provide teachers and students with more abundant academic research opportunities and international development platforms.
Since the signing of the inter-university cooperation agreement between NJFU and the University of Cumbria in 2022, more than 10 students of NJFU had been sent to the University of Cumbria for exchange and study.
