Ranking First! The First Impact Factor of Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts was 20.2

On June 20, Clarivate released its 2023 Journal Citation Reports (JCR). The Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts (JB&B), an English language journal sponsored by NJFU and co-sponsored by the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and the Cellulose Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, obtained the first impact factor of 20.2. It ranks 139th in all journal impact factors and first in WOS Library's Materials Science, Paper & Wood discipline, ranking in Q1 region.

Focused on the innovative development of biomass resources and engineering fields, JB&B has been included in ESCI, Ei Compendex, CSCD, Scopus, CABI, DOAJ and other databases. The journal has been funded by Category D of China Science and Technology Periodical International Influence Promotion Plan, selected as the Leading Journal of Jiangsu Science and Technology Periodical Excellence Action Plan in 2024, and won the awards of China's most internationally influential academic journal, Chinese University Science and Technology periodical Construction Demonstration Case database, and Jiangsu University Excellent Journal.
