The Delegation from MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology Visited NJFU
On October 11, Prof. Alizedney M. Ditucalan, President of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology Philippines, visited NJFU and cooperation agreement was signed between the two parties. Vice President of NJFU Prof. Yin Tongming attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Heads from the Office of International Cooperation, College of International Education, College of Ecology and Environment, College of Information Science and Technology, College of Artificial Intelligence also attended the meeting.
In his speech, Prof. Yin welcomed the delegation and introduced NJFU. He said that Nanjing Forestry University, as a university with a long history and profound cultural heritage, had always attached great importance to internationalization, and internationalization strategy had been listed as one of the five development strategies of the university; NJFU adhered to the openness, inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit, actively seeks to establish closer ties and cooperation with friends around the world. He said that the signing of the cooperation agreement would open a new chapter in the exchanges between the two universities, promote extensive and in-depth cooperation in the fields of personnel training, academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation, jointly promote the internationalization of education, and contribute wisdom and strength to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Prof. Alizedney M. Ditucalan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and spoke highly of the academic achievements and academic reputation of NJFU. He said that MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology attached great importance to strengthening cooperation and exchanges with Chinese universities, and the first stop of his first visit to China was Nanjing Forestry University. He hoped there would be more substantive cooperation between the two sides in scientific research, student training and teacher exchanges.
At the meeting, Joey Genevieve Martinez, Vice President of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, introduced the advantageous disciplines and international exchange support policies. The deans of the relevant colleges of NJFU introduced the subject and specialty characteristics of each college and the recruitment and training of international students, etc. The two sides also signed a memorandum of agreement.
