Research Results of NJFU Published in ‘Journal of the American Chemical Society’

Recently, based on the research of the "Light Click and Light-Driven Chemistry" team of the College of Science NJFU, a paper entitled " Steric Engineering of Phenanthrenequinone for Ultrafast and Tunable Visible Light-induced Photoclick Reaction” has been published in the top international journal ‘Journal of the American Chemical Society’ (https://doi.org/10.1021/jacs.5c21739). NJFU was the first completion unit. Zhou Jingwen, a PhD candidate of the College of Science and Professor Fu Youxin were the first authors. Professor Fu Youxin, Professor Zhang Jianyu of Zhejiang University, and Professor Ben L. Feringa from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands (the 2016 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry and a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences) were the co-corresponding authors. This research was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation.
