Research Results of NJFU Published in ‘Advanced Functional Materials’
Recently, the Nano Cell Engineering (NCE) research team led by Professor Xia Bing from the College of Science at our university has made new progress in the field of manganese based nano immune regulation. They have systematically proposed the new concept of "Coordination Mediated Immunomodulation" and elaborated on the coordination effects between Mn2+and different types of ligands, as well as their regulatory mechanisms on immune signal transduction, therapeutic efficacy, and nano system assembly from the perspective of cross fusion of coordination chemistry and immunobiology. The related achievement, titled "From Coordination Chemistry to Immune Modulation: Rational Design of Next Generation Mn2+- Based Immunomodulators", was published in the internationally renowned materials academic journal "Advanced Functional Materials" (Impact Factor 19, DOI: 10.1002/adfm.78108)。 Nanjing Forestry University is the first completion unit, with Zhang Xin, a master's student from the College of Science, as the first author and Professor Xia Bing as the corresponding author.
