Research Results of NJFU Published in ‘Progress in Materials Science’

Recently, Professor Wu Weibing's team from the College of Light Industry and Food at our university published an online article titled "Progress in Materials Science" (IF=42.9), an internationally authoritative journal in the field of materials science Biomass-based gas-barrier materials for food packaging: from transport principles to barrier design and applications The research paper (paper link: https://doi.org/  10.1016/j.pmatsci.2026.101835）。 Our university is the first completion unit, with doctoral student Meng Liu as the first author, and Professor Wu Weibing and Associate Professor Xi Jianfeng from Hunan University of Technology as co-corresponding authors. This research work has received funding from projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
