Research Results of NJFU Published in Nature Communications’

Recently, a paper entitled “Superwavelength Self-Healing of Spoof Surface Sonic Airy-Talbot Waves” has been published in the top international journal ‘Nature Communications’ (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0926337323010755), in which the Airy Talbot effect in acoustic systems was verified for the first time, and a spatial multiplexing method for aperiodic acoustic signals in two-dimensional wave systems was proposed. Dr. Li Haoxiang of the College of Information Science and Technology & College of Artificial Intelligence NJFU was the first author. Prof. Liang Bin, Associate Professor Yang Jing and Prof. Cheng Jianchun from Nanjing University and Prof. Johan Christensen from IMDEA Institute in Spain were the co-corresponding authors. Nanjing University was the first completed unit and NJFU was the second completed unit. The achievement was funded by the National Key Research and Development Plan and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
