Research Results of NJFU Published in ‘ACS Nano’

Recently, a paper entitled “Shape and stiffness switchable hydroplastic wood with programmability and reproducibility” was published in the top international journal ‘ACS Nano’ (https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsnano.3c06322), in which a sustainable and simple solvent processing strategy to turn natural wood into special-shaped wood with excellent mechanical properties and plasticity had been proposed. Zhang Tao, a PhD candidate of the College of Materials Science and Engineering NJFU was the first author. Prof. Zhou Xiaoyan, Associate Professor Chen Minzhi of NJFU and Associate Professor Zhou Ke of Soochow University were the co-corresponding authors. The achievement was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
